WebOverall, I'd say it's as safe a neighborhood as you'll find in the city - which is pretty damn good, this is one of the safest large cities in the world. So without regard to direction, the closer you get to East Williamsburg, the safer it gets, and the closer you get to Broadway Junction, the more dangerous it gets (within Bushwick). There are also many projects and crime does run rampant. You should be fine in the day time but be very careful at night.
